Almajd’s Namar campus hosted the KAUST Mathematics Competition (KMC), in cooperation with the gifted students department of the Riyadh Education Administration, with middle and secondary school students taking part.

Launched by King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), the competition is the first national initiative of its kind to identify and nurture outstanding students in mathematics, with questions in algebra, geometry and number theory set to international standards.

The regional round takes place in several Saudi cities and KAUST hosts the final. Winners receive prizes and a place at a summer mathematics camp run by KAUST with the University of Cambridge, plus a direct pathway to KAUST Academy programmes.

Hosting the competition reflects Almajd’s commitment to gifted students and to a stimulating, competitive environment that supports Saudi Vision 2030’s goal of a knowledge-driven generation.
